  • PCI Front Upper Camber & Caster Arms - 1996-2000 Honda Civic (EK)

Your EK has two alignment problems and the factory upper control arms fix neither one. Drop the car and camber goes negative until you're shredding the inside edges of your tires. Meanwhile the steering feels vague on center and the car wanders a little at speed, because nobody's ever been able to touch the caster. These PCI front upper camber and caster arms fix both at once. They give you real camber adjustment and the ability to add caster, which is the part most camber arms and camber kits can't do at all.

The Caster Part Is What Makes These Different

Most adjustable arms out there only handle camber. These do both, and the caster adjustment is worth understanding because it changes how the car feels in a way people don't expect. Adding caster (this gives you a dual-caster option of +2 degrees over OEM) does three things you'll notice immediately. The steering self-centers better, so the car tracks straight and quits wandering. Turn-in gets crisper and more confident. And you gain camber as you turn the wheel, meaning the outside tire tips into the corner right when it needs the grip, without you having to run a bunch of static negative camber that eats tires in a straight line. It's how you get cornering grip and reasonable tire wear at the same time.

And Camber You Can Actually Adjust

Now the camber side. Your stock upper arms are a fixed length, so when you lower an EK, camber goes negative and there's nothing your alignment shop can do about it. They set your toe, hand you a printout showing camber way out of spec, and shrug. These arms turn camber into something you control, with up to 1.5 degrees positive and 2.5 degrees negative over the factory arms. That's enough range to pull a slammed street EK back to sane numbers and save your tires, or to deliberately dial in aggressive camber for a track car. Either way it's finally your decision.

Compact, So You Keep Your Suspension Travel

This matters more than the spec sheet makes it sound. Plenty of camber kits are bulky enough that something contacts at full compression, and suddenly you've traded suspension travel for adjustment. That's backwards, especially on a car that's already lowered and working with less travel than it started with. PCI built these compact on purpose, so you retain factory suspension travel and give up nothing to get the adjustment.

Stiff Arms Hold The Alignment You Set

Adjustment only counts if the numbers stay put. These use very stiff 3/16" steel arms, because a flexy arm deflects under load and your carefully set geometry moves around every time you turn in hard, brake, or put power down. These don't budge, so you get sharper cornering, more consistent braking, and better throttle response. Not because they make power, but because your suspension is doing exactly what you told it to.

    The Hardware Behind It

PCI didn't cheap out anywhere. The caster adjustment runs on high-load 863 bronze bearings with stainless steel offset pins, which is a proper setup for something taking real load and needing to stay precise. On top of that you've got a CNC machined 2024 aluminum adjustable spherical bearing block, CNC machined and heat treated stainless steel high-misalignment 45 degree spacers, powder coated 3/16" steel arms, and fine thread M10 grade 10.9 hardware. They're long lasting, low maintenance, and fully rebuildable, so years down the road you refresh them instead of replacing them.

    One Honest Note

Two things worth saying straight. First, these arms run spherical bearings instead of rubber bushings, so they'll pass along more road noise and small vibrations than stock. On a lowered street car or track build that's a fair trade and you'll stop noticing it. Second, these fix camber and caster, they don't fix worn ball joints, tired bushings, or a bent anything else. Get the rest of your front end squared away first and these will do their job right.

    Fits These Cars

    • 1996-2000 Honda Civic (EK)

Note: Pro Car Innovations (PCI) front upper camber and caster arms, part number CA-EK-FU, for the 1996-2000 Honda Civic (EK). These adjustable front upper control arms replace the fixed factory arms and provide camber adjustment of up to 1.5 degrees positive and 2.5 degrees negative over stock, along with a dual-caster option of +2 degrees over OEM for added stability and improved steering response. Caster adjustment uses high-load 863 bronze bearings with stainless steel offset pins. Additional construction includes a CNC machined 2024 aluminum adjustable spherical bearing block, CNC machined and heat treated stainless steel high-misalignment 45 degree spacers, powder coated 3/16" steel arms, and fine thread M10 grade 10.9 hardware. The compact design retains factory suspension travel, and the stiff arms reduce flex for improved cornering, braking, and throttle response, with improved tire wear when properly adjusted for the application. Spherical bearings transmit more road noise and vibration than factory rubber bushings. Long lasting, low maintenance, and fully rebuildable. One set per order.
